Lent Reflections: Mar. 11, 2016

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; and those who are crushed in spirit he will save.” (Psalm 34 from today’s Mass).

When we are separated from those we love, when our plans come to nothing, then God is especially close to us. Maybe God has a broken heart, too.
