"While I admire what your organization is doing about the scandal in the Church, it's time to let the healing begin. Sexual abuse is not just a Catholic issue. It goes on un-reported in the Protestant denominations also. If there is an article, it's usually found on the back page, bottom column of the newspaper. The reason is anti-Catholic bigotry. The press will go to any lengths to dig up stories to embarrass the Church. As to the legitimate victims, my heart goes out to them. Hopefully, the money and counseling will help them heal.
