Locals say cardinal should quit over abuse
Irish Catholics have shown a definite lack of confidence in the leaders of the country’s church. The pope makes another apology
Last week Pope Benedict stood before 15,000 priests from across the globe and made yet another apology for the sins of the Church. He also promised to do “everything possible” to ensure that such abuse will never occur again. But the action he is promising is not immediately obvious. The Guardian takes a look at the promises and problems.
